Hello! Firstly WELCOME to all new firsties who have stumbled onto this page in the hope of finding the secret formula to design here. Please don’t run away, and anything you want to know about life in archi do ask on the forum, I promise to answer as best as I can and chase seniors to do so as well! This will be my last post as I step down from TAS soon, and I hope and pray that someone more technologically capable than me takes over this website and keeps the idea going - to keep a forum where seniors and juniors can communicate and pass information along. I have to say that as the years go by and more people graduate i imagine that those who remember the forum will come back to do job posts, younger generations will seek advice from the older ones, and it will be a grand, grand success.
Finally, a small piece of advice for all of you in school now - more important than anything else - enjoy yourself and enjoy your work. You will not survive all the years (with sanity intact) otherwise. Learn from each other (and your seniors on the forum!!!)
For sessions conducted on 12 & 13 March: please sign up by 11 March 12 noon

TAS organized a series of workshops during the mid-semester break for the Year 2s and 3s. The reception was overwhelming! Missed it? Don’t worry, just post a request via the forum and we’ll hold more sessions for you!
The main driving idea of creating a forum for NUS architecture students, along with the facebook communities etc was to create community, above and beyond the usual bonding within each academic cohort. Most of you probably don’t know about similar attempts by NUS architecture alumni like online magazine Five Foot Way and RE:Act. For TAS week 2008, we are showcasing the first video in a series by Five Foot Way documenting the creative process in various architecture firms in Singapore on Friday, in the student lounge before the tutor’s talk at 5pm.
Thanks to all who submitted designs for the t-shirt design competition! The entries are all on display in the foyer next to the SEP exhibition. The deadline has been extended to the 15th Feb, Friday, so it’s not to late to fire up photoshop and rev your creative engines - email your designs to kenkqb@gmail.com.
The Architecture Society is bringing to you this year’s anticipated event. A week dedicated to you, to entice, to educate and to enjoy.
